Sophia & Andrew were married on the hottest day of the year. We heard there was a heat index of 120 degrees. Sophia & Andrew never stopped smiling the entire day. It was a beautiful wedding filled with loving family, happy tears, and raucous laughter.
Lyon Oaks Metropark is the sister park to Indian Springs Metropark, where we married (more years ago than we care to reveal). Lyon Oaks was just as beautiful. Sprawling green lawns and forested paths. We commandeered a few golf carts and went exploring for a beautiful photo location after their ceremony. After a short time Sophia & Andrew looked down and spotted multiple ticks attempting to make Sophia's dress their new home. As you might have guessed, it's really hard to be romantic and in the moment when you have blood thirsty ticks crawling on you so we decided to head back in.
After the heat and the ticks we joined a great reception party at Lyon Oaks. People being thrown in the air, talented swing dancers, priests doing the hustle, and a high jump competition. Overall, it was a great wedding for an even greater couple. We had a blast working with Sophia and Andrew and we wish them the absolute best as they create their new family.
"Steve and Heather were amazing, fun people to work with. My guests and bridal party all raved about them afterwards. They were professional and easy to work with, you can tell they have a passion for what they do.They did a wonderful job capturing every moment of our special day from the table settings to sunset photos and all of our guests enjoying the night. They also got our images back to us pretty quickly, about 3-4 weeks. I would highly recommend them."
